Piet Lotz, SA is getting closer to that 1 ton pumpkin each year,Piet Lotz, a farmer from Riversdale in the Western Cape, who was crowned the 2018 champion at the 8th annual Giant Pumpkin Festival in Heidelberg with a pumpkin weighing in at an astounding 532.4kg.Has this year managed to get a 860kg sized pumpkin.
