Lands, Agriculture, Water and Climate Minister Perrance Shiriwarned Zimbabweans of poor rains expected for the rest of Zimbabwe’s rainy season – January to March. Shiri said in a statement that October to December had experienced below average rainfall and that the rest of the season could be the same.

Said Shiri:

“The performance of the season, thus far, has adversely affected on-farm activities such as land preparation, planting and casual labour opportunities which are below typical levels for this time of the year. The grazing has not been spared as well,”
