Farmers have been urged to use water efficient methods of irrigation so as to conserve water in the wake of global warming which has resulted in frequent droughts.
The Director of Water Resources in the Ministry of Environment, Water and Climate, Mr Tinayeshe Mutazu said farmers, most of whom owe ZINWA huge water bills, must consider effective systems like drip irrigation such that available water can be shared with other users like miners and for other household chores.
